I can see my husband doing something like that, but not putting quite so much work into it. When ever we get big boxes, he likes to keep them around for a little while. He cuts windows and such into them and puts the cats inside. He's big into the laser pointer, catnip, and toys, and watches more cats videos than he'll admit to.

I know I often mention the harsher side of my husband, but he has a soft side and can be very lovable, too. When I was in the psych ward last time, he took videos of himself playing with the cats with the long cat toys, and them rolling in catnip, and sent them to me to make me feel better :)

Work colleague's wife again.
 

My Workfriend's widow asked me on facebook to come to her son's 18 birthday July in Pennsylvania.


(After my friend died after a sad illness, hubby and I would meet the wife and kid twice a year for lunch. The kid is a weird kid who has many traits
that hubby has so they get along. I felt like hubby and I helped the kid.)
I miss her husband --- think about him a lot when I am thinking about work things.




(She is the one I helped pack up to move about two years ago.
I spent a lot of time that day with her son while hubby spent time with her.
I helped the son be o.k with moving across the country,
helped him with his stuff, helped him pack up his father's enormous vinyl collection, helped him be o.k.
with being in a long car ride with his mom that he told me he does not like. . . . . took into consideration the needs of the deaf and blind dog while we were boxing up/ moving stuff.. . . . . . .
Dealing with the items in the house was kind of a goodbye to my work-friend AGAIN. A few years before, I had cleaned out his work office and boxed up stuff.
And there were two memorial services in town (one work, one family).

NO. I cannot take a plane trip to a b-day party.

My first time on a plane in fourteen (14) years was to see one of my brothers last summer.
I HAVE NOT BEEN OK SINCE THAT TRIP IN JULY, 2015.
It was toooooooooooo much for me.

I might decide to ignore her for a while, send her a short note, and forget sbout her.
My sis says she never "got" me.

Perhaps she is not handling things very well - I dunno, but I canot be a friend to her.
