Dear Dew -

Sorry for the late response, but I've been a little out of pocket since Thursday. (See my response to Coffeebean.)

Please don't be too concerned about the call. You are essentially in litigation with your ex-employer, where it's insurance rates may be effected by the outsome of your case - if in fact it is not "self-insured" - and attempts at "party to party" communications are just a (perfectly legal) part of the game. That said, you absolutely did the right thing in not taking the call.

This too shall pass.

Mike

Dew,
Hope you feel better soon. I was having a couple bad days last wk also. I certainly am learning how bad wc treats you. Last mo they gave me a hard time about one med that I ended up off for 3 days and climbing the wallls and now they are doing it again with another . This is only the beginning I'm sure. Hang in there and don't give up.

Hey Dew,

We haven't seen you around since you posted this so I thought I should bump this up. I'm hoping you are OK? I know things are tough right now but your silence has me worried. Please touch base with us all and let us know how you're doing.

Miss you.

I leave my puter on 24/7, and have popped in a few times..but no energy to send my images to my buddies. I will be better soon.

Get this, last night, around 10:00 PM central time, the phone rings and hubby cks caller id..it is my x boss that terminated me over 1 yrs ago??? The same boss that told me that my pain was my problem, and the corp. I worked for was not Walmart..there are no greeter positions(idiot, greeters stand up at Walmart!). I was laying down, and was not in the mood to talk to her..I owe her nothing. She left a message asking me to call her back...yeah, RIGHT!!!

I spoke to my atty. today, and he told me to ignore her call. I don't have to deal with her. I see the atty.'s doctor in one month; it is then that the doc will figure out what I NEED to LIVE life as a CRPS patient, that is now drawing SSDI, because of 2 WC injuries/surgeries, (2 1/2 yr ago since 1st injury..and start of RSD.) I told the atty. that I need water PT, I need a scooter..I need a doc that knows more than pain medicine. I need an RSD specialist..the best. It will all be addressed when I see the atty.'s doctor and he evaluates me.

Finally, I see a light at the end of this tunnel of hell. I know there will be more delay, etc, however, we will be before the judge and these demands for my welfare will be addressed.

I hope to be back full throttle this weekend. Miss each of you.

love,
Dew
Hi Dew, thank you for letting us know how you are. I'm so sorry you are going thru this flare. It will pass, and so will with WC junk. I've never been involved with WC, but have been involved in litigation. It truly is a stressor. But it too will be over, and hopefully you won't have to battle with them any longer. You can concentrate on getting better. The water therapy did, does make me better. I'm grateful for continued help thru meds and psych.
We sold part of our business and I lost my health insurance. It doesn't feel good, I'm still fighting the same flu that I had when you were here with Wanda. My Dr. gp, said I could come in Wed and see his asst. get check x-ray and get my flu shot. I told me, well I still had fever and chest infection, he said it didn't matter if I got the shot now. I feel the shot should be given a healthy person and wanted to wait till well, he disagreed. I know one thing, I'm not getting the shot till I'm well.
Dew, is wrongful termination of employment being included in your case.
My daughter has done a lot of cases of wrongful termination.
We still have 100 plus. Should be cooling down soon. I wish you well, and please know you are in our thoughts and prayers, Loretta soft hugs
