Dear Dew -

Sorry for the late response, but I've been a little out of pocket since Thursday. (See my response to Coffeebean.)

Please don't be too concerned about the call. You are essentially in litigation with your ex-employer, where it's insurance rates may be effected by the outsome of your case - if in fact it is not "self-insured" - and attempts at "party to party" communications are just a (perfectly legal) part of the game. That said, you absolutely did the right thing in not taking the call.

This too shall pass.
