Hi,
My name is Karla and I've been researching TBI the past several weeks with the new information that has been surfacing about football players having multiple concussions and symptoms developing years later. I began retracing timeline on my concussions as a child and realized just a week ago that the three concussions I had were all within a year of each other, between the age of 9-10 yrs old. I've been suffering from depression, memory problems, blurry vision, and major mood swings. I'm looking forward to learning more and am interested in knowing if it's worth my time & money to see a physician. From what I've read there isn't a whole lot that can be done; however, I'd be curious to know if the protein connected with Alzheimers could possibly be noted from a petscan. Sincerely, Karla |
