Default I am so sorry

that I have been off of the board and didn't know what hell you were going through. I do dmire you for hanging in there and also a big CONGRATS on quitting cigarettes.. I smoke, nothevily, but smoke. I hate everything about it, the smell, taste, everything, and yet continue to do it..LOL I hav quit before for a long while and then after getting the RSD started back. BIG MISTAKE..

I will have to see if I can find your inital post on why you had to stop your pain meds cold turkey. I wish I would have known then, because I have dealt with withdrawals and know they are hell. I know no one is affected the same but there is no good withdrawal. I take methadone and have now for about 4 years and just take 40 mgs a day. I was started out on 10 mgs a day so haven't really had to incrase a lot, and am too scared to really. I have to say that before starting the methadone I could not wear a shoe but afterwards am able to tolerate it enough to wear a shoe, but they come off as soon as I walk in the door..LOL

I do hope you find a good dr soon. what part of Cali are you in? A friend of mine who is a Dr may know someone to refer you to. I do pray for everyone affected by this horrible disease everyday and will continue to do so. I will say a little extra one for you..

In my thoughts and prayers,
Janet
