The weather here is great 70 degree winters and no humidity in the summer,,,in the desert ,you never know what kind of animals live there,,we have rattlesnakes too but they make themselves known, but the quail, cottontails walk right up to you to get their food, but like the big jack rabbits are skidish,,we feed them scrtach[blended bird food] and they love that and apples and cabbage are their favorite,,,,,i want God to open his hand to feed me,,so i do not see it a waste to feed these guys,,we've feed them so long now, that they depend on it,,twice a day,,and on saturday when we try to sleep in,,that aint happening,,they beat on the side of the bedroom wall to wake us up,,no joke,,their funny,,,,I like hebrews 13:2 " Do not forget to entertain strangers , for by so doing some people have entertained angels without no knowing it.
