Default prayer for a new week

May everyone start this week fresh with a moment to be thankful for the blessings we have in our life. lets all take some time and do something just for ourselves this week to thank ourselves for enduring the pain we go through everyday. I pray everyone has a low-pain week, and take a minute to thank the Lord for everything he has given us. I pray the Lord sends a guardian angel to comfort, nourish and hold our hurting hearts, and sends strength to keep moving forward with a positive mind even when we are tired and feel like we have no more to give. May the Lord send a friend to those in need, and give every one of us strength to carry on our lives for our families and loved ones around us.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
—Philippians 4:13

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
—Ephesians 3:14-19

Allow me to add...whatever each of us hold in our hearts..may we hold true to our inner strengths and feelings..as with an illness such as ours we need to draw strength....as in our rock.. as this inner strength may be different for each of us..you need a solid belief.... and never veering off of our paths and lose sightings of our life and meaning here on earth as we realize..each day is a gift... I can't bear to look to far into the future as that is too much to digest and possibly it won't play out that way anyway..Just cling to what each day presents us and keep the love in your heart as that is free and I believe it is the most comforting... I, thank you Hannah.. as we all must understand that as darn impossible it seems, to live with RSD..we must accept it is part of us now and we have eachother for support!!

Enjoy your day all...

Kathy~

Default God heard my prayers

Kathy and Hannah,

I laid down today for my hour of meditation and mindfulness. For the first time in months I cried. I begged God for a miracle! You see, I ripped my right foot off of my leg nine years ago. I also crushed the other foot. So today as I sit here, I grabbed the phone to call my ortho surgeon. But, instead I came here for a minute to ponder some things. I wanted to ask him to take off my foot. I just can't take the bad days any longer. I am dealing with alot of post traumatic pain as well as the causalgia, so my distorted thinking today, was to take it off. It has already spread, but if I could just eliminate some of the posttraumatic pain, maybe I could deal with it for a while longer.

God Bless you both, I will take today as a sign and a miracle that you have both found in your hearts to share. I will take the time, to think this through on a more clear day. Thank you God for using these precious people to spread your message. Today, I will just pray, for all of you for pain relief, a miracle, a cure and for friendship.

God Bless, Jeanie

Should I understand your post correctly.. our blips deverted you from making a very crutial but timely phone call... If that understanding is correct, then I have just done a weeks worth of work...that is helping a dear friend in need..You, my dear friend are suffering.. your pain is indescribeale to others and heartache that is unmeasureable... I, too have begged my Dr. to take my rt. leg away..later realizing ..that would not be the end of my pain therefore not the end of my problems either....We all have those moments when we would resort to taking such measures that would blow the minds of healthier indivduals...thank goodness you gave yourself the opportunity to step back and rest and read...today.. humm... ?? Now there was gift..! .. We must all become accustomed to our newselves and what we are comprised of.. sadly, it is not easy for us to move about with such large baggage now.. each day in our RSD state but this is us now..and together we will figure this out... You are stronger than you believe and you are equipted to handle this more than you think... RSD is not given to the weak...Thought for the day is when your feeling sad... come visit your friends on this forum!!!

Much love, Jeanie..

Kathy

Sorry for your tears... "don't cry shop girl...don't cry..."

Last night before I wrote this, on my heart all day and week was that there was someone whom needed an encouragement to carry on with God's strength as there was a hard decision to be made, I did not know where to go or who to talk to, so I came on here and wrote it. Praise the Lord you were touched by this. i was moved to tears when I read your response. I thank you and than the Lord for his mercy upon us as his children. May you start and end your day with glory to God and prayer to know that he has a plan for each and every one of his kids. Even though our life we dont always agree with what is going on, He has allowed it to happen, and He will help us through it, we just need to let him. May you all have a blessed evening and a relief of pain!
