Hi there..
I am loosing my battle with WCB what I need to help me before my next apeal date feb 13, is evidence or an article on full body symptoms.. I know they are out there.. but i saved alot on a computer that now does not work. full body and organ involvement... they have decreed that I should get $123.73 a month till I am 65. and only that because my ankle rated 3.75% does not bend well.. 2.5% for pain in canada is added into that to make my 123.73 a month. I realy need your help if you are into researching, or any ideas... there is not alot of info out there or it is the tiniest part of a report or article it is the references to a report done in 1984 that I am searching fornow, but it ocured to me that mabie I can get some help, or mabie someone here already has researched the same thing. I realy could use some friends right now.. things are lookin very bleak health wise and my battle with WCB is so stressful, my heart gets to actin up when I get too upset and they always upset me. Thanks for bein there if only so I can release some tension by tellin you all this, if you have full body RSD and expecialy organ involvement (or even if you don't) can you write me either here on this post, or at my email: samiam409@hotmail.com Anything to help would be apreciated, personal stories all welcome but expecialy if your condition has been accepted by doctors and/or WCB. And articles, articles are hugely apreciated thanks. Soft hugs and well wishes fer all a ya, Sandra |

No problem, Sandra,
No personal stories from me, RSD is in my left wrist/hand only - but I'll see what I can dig up on the net....I'm quite a good "finder", can't promise anything useful, but anything to help, I know you're having a particularly rough time right now. all the best ![]() |

I hope this helps! I searched as long as my hands would allow. There was not much specifically on full-body but some of these sites had numerous links.
Hang in there and remember - you are not in this alone! ![]() http://www.rsdhope.org/ShowPage.asp?PAGE_ID=79 http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/d...sautonomia.htm http://www.tripdatabase.com/SearchRe...1&criteria=rsd http://www.disabilitysecrets.com/soc...ility-rsd.html http://www.emedicine.com/neuro/topic627.htm Septmystic |

Dear Sandra -
Following up on Septmystic's comments, I turn to one of my my favorite website, that of the RSDSA (Refelx Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association) and came up with what I hope are three good pages for you, each with numerous sub-pages. The first is its "Treatment Guidelines" at http://www.rsds.org/3/clinical_guidelines/index.html There's a lot of material there, once you've opened and printed each one of the pdf files in there. This is basically a small book in it's own right. While perhaps not directly on point, per your request, it's something you should have. The next page is headed "Resources" and includes a number of articles dealing with workers' comp. and disability claims. While much if not all of this is written around U.S. law, I suspect that 85 to 90% of the stuff regarding claim stratagies will flow across the boarder with complete transparency. And that's here: http://www.rsds.org/4/resources/index.html Finally, for the best store-house of medical articles that I'm aware of, nothing beats the RSDSA Medical Articles Archive at http://www.rsds.org/2/library/articl...ive/index.html. Among the pieces I would refer you to are: 1. Impairment/DisabilityJust go in and open whatever article you are interested in off of the page. I hope this is helpful. Good luck. How about Dr. Hooshmand's puzzle? Have you read the parts of it that tells what body parts are involved? That might help.
I have his book and it talks about every body part there is and how they can be involved with RSD. I would say the puzzle would cover a lot of the same. You might check it out. It's been so long since I read it but I do know that the puzzle has a lot of sections on different RSD issues. Good luck, Ada |

hi and thanks so much I am buisy reading and saving things to my WCB folder.. lotsa great stuff..
Those are all very interesting links expecialy that one on dysautonomia.. Wow it describes alot of the symptoms I have .. definatly need to explore the connections there. I have some of the Hoosemand puzzles copied out and I have brought them (rather ineffectivly I might add) to my doc in the past, I will use those in this apeal as well as the 3rd clinical guidelines as well as Worksafe BC's (WBC here) own CRPS update dated june 2006. stuff they would have to consider valid.. i have alot of reading to do and typing hurts alot tonight. Thanks so much you are all focusing my mind it seems and I need that now. ![]() Sandra Last edited by Sandel; 01-23-2007 at 03:40 AM. Reason: added to it |
