I take all those vitamins and antioxidants plus a few more. They are widely available at health food stores so you don't have to go to expensive proprietary products from a website. It is important is that you get good quality products and that you follow your doctors recommended dosages. They are very good for the nerves and inflammation.

All my doctors know what I take and we always take this into consideration when we change my meds.

I haven't heard of the Nucynta, do you know what that is supposed to do?

Good luck with them.

Default Tapentadol marketed as Nucynta

Hi Sandy,

I just looked up this drug and realized that it has been on my watch list under the name of Tapentadol.

Apparently it is a very clean drug as it is cleared by the kidneys. It is a dual action, centrally acting analgesic. The IR formulation had been approved by the FDA in 2008 for acute pain. There has been an ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial for the ER formulation for use with various pains so I'm pleased to see it's been passed and now on the market.

I hope your daughter finds good results with it.

Msl,

Thank you for the information, it seems to help her for a few hours, but then her pain is returning. I think it will take a little while for it to get into her system to show if it is really going to help her.

thanks again,

Sandy
