Yeppers! High blood pressure for me to. Right before the doctor put me on 3 BP meds he took a reading in his office of 190/115. He said I would have a stroke if we couldnt get it down. Even on 3 different BP meds it is borderline high.

The doctor wont acceot that it is from RSD, butI know it is because before I got RSD I was working out 3 to 4 days a week for 11 years. My heart rate and blood pressure were waaaaaay down there compared to now LOL!

It does seem to spike up on the bad pain days, and even during light stress. Just another thing to deal with since RSD made its home in my body.

This is what I cannot get under control. I dont get it. It is so high lately. Even having PVCs, brain zaps, palpatations and head is throbbing breathing labored. Doc put me on BP meds this week and I had a serious reaction. I have NEVER had BP issues until my injury lately just skyrocketing bringing on other sx's. Master P had to go without me this morning to the Fibromyalgia Awarness Day. Im in bed and my daughters wedding shower is this evening. Using tons of hypnotherapy, visualization.
Hi Cindy, Hope you go to Dr. and let him know about your symptoms. High blood pressure is serious and can have serious consequences. When I first was diagnosed with RSD and followed up with high blood pressure, I also had electric jolts, stabs thru my body, thru my brain, raising my head up. Actually was put on neurotin, an anti-seizure med for the symptoms stopped. Was on 3200 mg of neurotin. After a long time on that, I gradually went off and electric jolts, jerks stoppd for the most part. I believe the RSD affecting the Limbic part of brain caused that. Haven't looked it up for a look time. I still have times of my memory having cliches when speaking-forgetting a word or grasping for a work while speaking.
The website www.rsdrx.com is very good. Dr. Hooshmand from Florida practiced 40 years on RSD. He's retired, but still has website up. Go to puzzles list-they are actually 147 questions and his answers to patients. It will explain the blood pressure, and other symptoms very well.
Hope to follow thru with the Dr. Isn't this a wonderful family of caring people who really are 'there for us' and 'we for them' Hope you have a nice weekend. Take care, your friend, loretta

Loretta,
You n' me gotta hook up soon. Ur knowledge and grace with everyone here is heartwarming.

Sounds all too familar everyone is having these issues with BP. Shocked how much Neurotin u were on. I took the lowest mg and it still sent me to the ER as with the BP meds. Highly sensitive to meds. Doc just had his front office worker call to tell me to take 50 mg benedryl crazy "ish".

I missed out on the entire FM Awareness Day at CSUF. So, so upset. At least my Master P covered it. He said it was packed full of people and the information was needed making a difference. Did make it to my daughters bridal shower that night with very little energy. Only a couple of times of excusing myself to re-group. It was a spectaclar, spectular night of music, food and fun. Her Maid of Honor is a respected Hollywood event planner. We are blessed with the best of friends. In bed all day recovering after delivering the truck load of gifts. Hilarious watching her fiance and dad's face as they re-opened each gift more excited than all of us.

Off to research your info and Dr. Weil's Az wellness clinic & others. Just feel like everything is going haywire lately.

Thanks Loretta and everyone for all this information!
Cyndy
