When I had tachycardia I always felt better after I sat down as a chance to catch my breath (and stop the possibility of falling from the dizziness). I seemed to get it when I was upset so I would try to mentally go to my 'happy place'. I would also eat a little something. Soon it would pass.
I have taken Verapamil for about five years and it has helped me immensely. I did go through a lot of trial and error with different drugs before settling on this one. Good luck to you and let us know how your appointment went. |

Thanks for the replies, they helped calm me down somewhat. Only one report was back and it has shown a mitral valve prolapse with regurgitation. Next stop... cardiologist, just what I need, another doctor. Hope everyone is having a low pain night, Lisa
