Default Frustrated

Hi Everyone! I know that I don't get on here often, but don't have a computer that is easily accessed. Was just wanting to vent a bit; I am having alot of random pain and don't know what to do. I don't have arthritis, am allergic to most pain med;, and don't like taking them anyway. I keep getting pain in my neck, my hips, my shins, tops of my feet, opposite hand, trouble with nerve pain in teeth after filling, etc. I feel like a big baby cause most of you are having a much worse time than I am and I don't really desire treatment because of reactions etc. I just feel like I am too young to feel this old and am not sure what to do. I am under 45 (barely) Ha!, but feel much much older. I stopped hiking cause of hip pain and IBS, stopped biking cause I can't grip the brake anymore but need to exercise. I guess I need to just do it and stop making excuses. Anywho, don't mean to waste your time, just needed to get this off my chest. Hope you all have a very nice day. Prayers to you all.

Woe Doggies... You are fine..you are not wasting our time nor complaining..You are within your absolute right to shed this stress of pain and RSD off of your chest..What you are felling is exactly what we have all felt from time to time and we are here for you..The best I be certain of is that..we have to take each moment of the day as it presents itself and look for the next moment in hoping it will be better..I think in combination with rest, pain, fustration makes what kind of day we have...Always knowing that tomorrow is right around the corner...you are okay, Suz...I am sure of that..Know you have our shoulder to cry on and our hands extend to lift you when you are down... Most of all, you are in our prayers as we all can relate to your fustrations and sadness... I, too am unable to take any pain medicine due to illness fom them... so it can be hard to live from hour to hour so I sometimes back it up to say..I must go minute to minute... Take our hands..allow us to lift you and when tomorrow comes..it will look nicer for you and you will be there for us too...Hang right in there!!!!

God bless,,,,Hugz, Kathy

Suz , You are by know means alone on this trip . I went from being a 39 yr old Firefighter in tip top shape - ran 3-5 miles every other day , lifted weights , all the macho firefighter stuff lol , before I was injured . And now I am getting ready to hit half a hundred and hope the wind isn't blowing to bad when I go outside , how crazy is this stuff ??? One of the things I enjoy most of this board is the ability to vent when you are having a rough time . But keep in mind a better day is out there , maybe not tomorrow or the next day but it is out there ! Take care !

Yeah, it's rough when you can't decide which is worse....the extreme heat that makes out sweating worse or the mean big bad air conditioner blowing on our firey skin

Suz....never feel bad about needing to vent. Yes, some here might have it worse than you, today, but some are not so bad. We are all in this together.....and we are all allowed to mourn the loss of our 'normal' lives

Hi Suz66,
I hear ya! I understand exactly how you feel and want you to know there are better days ahead if you hang in there and only take it one day at a time. And do not feel bad for venting cause this is the best place to do it for sure. I am 47 years old and have IBS and have had almost identical of the things you say in your posting. I was in the best shape before this injury five years ago and took yoga for two years and was ready to sign up for kick boxing!!! And then started with exercising in bed with a PT and now I am beginning to use one cane only to walk short distances. It gets frustrating but you just have to look forward to tomorrow and think you will do something that you could not do the day before. I just told someone today that I feel like I am 95 years old almost all the time and he laughed cause he was about 70! Humor and prayer do help me alot. Hang in there and do a little bit more each day and it makes you feel like you have accomplished so much.
Take care,
kathy d

Laugh Grateful to you all! =)

Thanks for the replies and encouragement. I have been seeking someone to talk to about what is going on and I guess you all are a wealth of information in that we all know more about this than any doctor, I'm guessin. =) I truly appreciate all the prayers, well wishes, and encouraging words. I don't want to find treatment, just understanding and support. Thanks for this from all of you that replied. I feel a friendship with you on here and an understanding that only we can share because we have "all been there." Thanks again and know that you are all in my prayers as well. Blessings to you all, Suz =)
