I went for my 1st SGB (nerve block) this morning and I have to say, it really wasn't bad. It was a bit scary at first, but it worked out. My pain after was at a 0-1 until 8 hrs. after block!! I just started getting the burning prickly feeling back in my hand/arm, so I guess it was kind of successful? Pain is still only around a 3-4 whereas it is normally ranging between 6-9. I will be having a 2nd one done on Wednesday morning and am only worried about where the Dr. will inject the needle since the spot on my neck is very tender still...Anyways, just thought I would fill y'all in since I was so panicked about having it done!!
