Hi I am sorry for your pain. I can relate to how you feel. I do feel as the time passes the feelings, emotions, coping change. Sometimes I see to it goes in phases as well. I can't imagine how hard it is to be a mom through a condition like this. I hope you also have family and friends that can help. I think it is a good idea to see someone for the mental side of things. My pain doctor said how someone can't be in pain for so long and it not have an impact mentally. I know i waited too long to go and see someone. Right now I am going through a bad time with pain and mentally again but I try to take 1
day at a time. On the real bad days just doing what I can to make it through in the best way mentally and physically. You never know what treatment or med will help in the future so I try to remain to hope in that and not focus on the fears of what could happen bad. This is easier said then done of course.
Hang in there and feel better. Hey may I ask where you live? You mentioned the ghecko and I am in FL and we have those which get in the house and creep me out. Ick.

Hi,

Sorry you are also feeling the same way I am mentally. It sure is emotionally draining to be in constant pain. I to remind myself that things can get better. Maybe I am feeling so frustrated right now as I am waiting for calls from specialists and psychologists. The waiting is rough as I am one of them is going to help with my pain levels....

I live in Manitoba, Canada. We don't have the Gecko's running around here. So we instead have them as pets. lol Herman is my daughters Gecko's name. I don't ever touch him. I find them rather creepy myself. But doesn't take much to take care of them and they are quiet pets. Herman and I share a banana together every couple days...well that is he always gets my last big thrown in the cage.

Take care,
Karen

Yes the wait can make things worse I do know. What I usually do lets say if an apt is 2 months off I call everyday for a cancelation. I have gotten in many weeks or months earlier doing that.
I did not know Gheckos were pets. I am thinking your's are bigger cause I can't imagine these eating a banana. They come out here in the summer more so. I am not a fan of bugs or creatures like this which is not good living in FL.
Feel better and hang in there.
