Default nausea

I have been having ALOT of nausea and fatigue problems lately.. I will have a good day where I will be out and about and the next day I will be sick to my stomach with nausea. Just wondering if anyone has this problem? And what you do for it? I havent started any new meds, or stopped any meds, or anything. So i dont understand why its happening.

Hope you all have a low pain day

Hannah

I have had so much nausea since I got the RSD in my left ankle...more in the past few months but we have hopefully found the reason for that. I know that nausea/vomitting is how I react to pain and I certainly have a lot of THAT since I hurt my ankle. If you haven't had any changes in meds, maybe that could be it. Or maybe it is something completely seperate like my increase in nausea and vomitting the last few months has been. Have you seen the doctor about it?

Default Zofran

Hi Hannah,

I also have a lot of stomach issues. I have no idea why, it could be the Topamax. I take 200 mg a day for my headaches. I also take a lot of Fiorcet.

Tums work well, but if things get too awful I will take a Zofran. It's very expensive so I only take it when I really need it.

Hope this helps....and good luck. Sandy

Thanks guys. I only take 50 of topomax, which is not alot so I doubt that has anything to do with it. And i have been on it for 3 years with no problems.

Good to know I am not the only one with the nausea problems. Its so frustrating. I am going to ask my RSD doc about it when I see him next. I just am not in the mood to go see another doctor right now LOL... so it can hold off. I am not so much throwing up, but just the nausea is horrible. I will definately try some tums to see how that works out! It seems like when I am in ALOT of pain and I am stubborn and dont want to take medicine, I get really nauseus, and even when I do take the pain meds, it doesnt help with the nausea. I am going to try to take my pain meds regularly rather than after the fact for the next few days to see how my body reacts that way.

That is interesting Catra121 about how you deal with pain is the nausea and vomiting....

Thanks so much for your replies! Hope you guys find relief!
