Meyers Distributors. For just pads, you might even be able to get the distributor to sell directly to you.

Now when it comes to buying a machine or getting instructions to use one, it is true that most if not all chiro's or PT's will have to physically see you to legally dispense a machine. It is not a "gimmick" but it is the law for which the doc or PT can go out on the malpractic plank by not doing so!
My wife suffers from chronic pain, for which she uses the STS nightly, along with prescribed pain meds. Let me just say... pain is expensive!

We tried using an alternate electrode (a typical STS 8-pack is $27.50, generic 1.25" rounds came $5.50 for a four-pack) but discovered that the lead wires for the STS are thinner than normal. We're going to try crimping the generic 'trodes to see if they'll make a good contact, but the system has been engineered to ensure maximum payout for the designer/licensor.

I am very interested if anyone has a copy of the full Dynatron STS Treatment Guide. I'm tempted to buy a full machine kit that includes the guide, available used on eBay for ~$1600- quite the investment for a device we've already bought. My frustration with the limited protocols we've been given is quite high.

Default Hello dubious

You were sure right about one thing you said, pain is indeed expensive. It costs financially, physically and emotionally! I hope your wife is better today. ginnie

From their website: "EQUIPMENT-Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, or dentist licensed by the law of the state in which said person practices to use or order the use of this device."
So my guess is getting a manual from the manufacture may prove difficult unless you are a licensed provider....but good luck!

It's exactly as impossible as the law has made it. They aren't required to provide it, so it is held back to maintain the mystery, as it were.

I think the protocols guide falls somewhere between an operator's manual and a service manual. The former is included with the device for consumer use; the latter is restricted to licensed service technicians.

Grr.

@Ginnie: thanks for the well-wishing. Today's not bad and tomorrow will be warmer.
