Default Valerian Root for sleep?

Has anybody tried this? I have tried everything under the sun for sleep. And the past weeks/months I am up all night long laying in bed eyes clothes, but I can not fall asleep.

Has anyone tried this? My mom got it for me and I took one tonight and am hoping for the best!
