meditate! take a bath and soak. Eat a bite of chocolate. take a walk and burn off the cortisol. cuddle a stuffed animal. (I wont tell you have one) the hugging action triggers our brains.
Make sure you warn folks. "im having a bad day. please dont take it personally, just let me work it out." then do your own thing. Giving from an empty cup frequently creates this style breakdown. You give to the kids, the husband, the neighbors, the school, the dog, the cat, the house, the bills...then before you know it you have nothing left to give to yourself. Have you seen the website butyoudontlooksick.com ?? the spoon theory is what you want to read. wonderful at explaining it! I hope you feel better. ![]()
