Default Wish me luck!

After months of waiting to hear from my employer about this "in person meeting to discuss available positions" I have finally heard back and the meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday! I won't bore you all with the details but please wish me luck. I would like nothing more than to be able to return to work in my current position (which I 100% know I can do)...but we'll see what they have to say.

A part of me knows it's just a sham because of the EEOC charge I filed but there's the part of me that is still hoping for them to do the right thing because all I want to do is work and have my life go back to as close to normal as it can be. It will never be the same while I still stuffer from RSD but I want it to be as close as possible. I just want to move past all this nonsense. But however it turns out...whatever they say Wednesday...at least I will no longer be in limbo after the meeting and if I need to find another job then I can focus on that even if worst case scenario happens. It's been very hard to DO anything while all this is still up in the air.

So if you have any good thoughts, prayers, or wishes to send my way please do...I need all the help/luck I can get.

I have said it before and I will say it again. You are amazing!!!!!!!!! You will come out on top! If things don't go your way with your past job you will find another and you will continue to be the success that you already are.

Things happen for a reason. I can't help but wonder if your not returning to work when you were first released was not a blessing in disguise. It gave you time to try tDCS and make even more progress. (You would have done it anyway but it was good not to have the added stress of returning to work at that time)

Hugs and prayers for you!!!!!!!!!

I have had this thought too...that even though it was wrong that things may in the end work out better for me. I mean...when I was first released back in January part time it was PROBABLY too soon but I wanted to be back so badly. In February I knew it would be rough but felt like I could handle it. Now...I KNOW I can handle it and be just as great at the job as I always was. While I did not WANT the extra months off...I did not waste them.

Catra,

I do wish you the best of luck and indeed good thoughts and prayers
are sent your way. I am in complete agreement with ballernia when
she says things happen for a reason. I beleive they do. We do not
always know the purpose and may not for many years but good things
do come to those who bite onto courage and press forward as you have
done. Your having done so has made you ever more capable, stronger.
These qualities cannot be taken from you because they have become a part of you

Good luck and best wishes. Just remember to breath in and out, and also remember that god doesn't close any doors with out open a few others. You will succeed no matter with way this goes.

Well...I'm home from my meeting and it went alright. Unfortunately though there is still no resolution to the situations because all they wanted to do today was gather MORE information from me. They questioned how I would do a list of various tasks and I walked them through everything. I can do everything they asked and it wasn't difficult at all to walk them through everything...but it was clearly fishing for some excuse to not allow me to return. I didn't give them one though.

They did say I should hear back from them in a day or two so hopefully the resolution to the situation is not too far off in the future at this point. I sent all my notes from the meeting to the EEOC investigator so she has all of that. I'm pretty happy with how I handled myself and it felt good to at least look them in the eye while I explained how I would do everything. I can't control what they will do at this point, only my own actions and the choices that I make. So it will be what it will be (but hopefully it will BE something soon).
