Default vision vent

Went to the optometrist today because my visioned has worsened dramatically in less than two years. I wasn't aware RSD could cause vision issued.. kind of hummed about that. Ive never worn glasses before now.

That sucks. I've had my share of vision difficulties with RSD (blurry vision and double vision). Luckily, these have mostly gone away since I started clonidine patches. I still have the occassional issues, especially if the pain gets really bad, but nothing that could be corrected with glasses.

Had RSD for 17 years, it's been in the last three that Iv'e had vision issues, coupled with the fact that I was myoptic to begin with and age related changes. My problems are blurriness and decreased night vision

I can totally relate. Seemed to come on slow and then over the past year or so, wow, the eyes are definitely deteriorating rapidly. Frustrating as all get out. Even food is blurry now when i sit down to eat. Was bad enough trying to read a menu...ug! I never needed glasses before RSD. My eyes seem to tear an awful lot too as a precursor to a bad episode. So strange. Oh but something that seems to help a little outside of glasses is an eye drop for blurry eyes (over the counter). It does help a bit.

I had major and still have some eye problems about a year after dx of RSD. In one year I had been to I would say 10 specialists and 50 apts around my eyes. I was crying from pain and my vision was off. Though I still have flares and I may have rsd in my eyes which is a hard dx it has gotten to a better place.
