I tried this and was up to 120. At first it made me super nauseous which my pain doc said was normal and would wear off after a few weeks which it did. I started at 30 after dinner to help with that. It is an expensive med but if your insurance does not cover ask your doc about writing the company because sometimes they will send it to your docs office for free or less if you dont have med insurance.
The thing with meds and if they help or not etc is we are all different so what may help one person may not another. I was also on the combo of neurontin and cymbalta at that time too. Though neither helped me but I did not feel it hurt me either.
I hope you find what works

I have been on the same dose for a few months now. I experienced stomach issues for the first 7 days but they stopped and I am sleeping better at night. As well I have noticed an improvement in my mood. Hope it works for you!

The nausea and stomach pains lasted a few weeks for me, both times I started Cymbalta. I did better taking it at night to start with to lessen those issues.

I think the Cymbalta helps me more with the aches and pains of my fibro than with my RSD pain, but I'll take whatever help I can get. I'm also on Neurontin and narcotics.

It also helps me with the depression I've dealt with since dealing with chronic pain.

Thank you to ALL for your replies.

Well, I'm about a week into my trial of Cymbalta; have had a little extra nausea but not too bad. Have been using generic dramamine to help out.

No other side effects at this point.

But also no improvement in pain level either. YET. But it's early! Stay tuned!
