Default Hi Mark,

I'm glad to see you post, I do hope you stick around. So many of the oldies have left in the past few months again.

Sorry that you are having such a bad time with everything. I went down to sign up after Bill passed because I lost his income and I got them one month and then was cut down to 10. a month. I haven't yet but I am just going to tell this witch that she can stick them where the sun don't shine. It's just crazy that a person has to go through this.

Has far as SS. Bill was gone 5 months today and as of yet I still don't know what I will draw. I have gotten 8 different letters and not one of them had the same amount on it. They waste all of the money they should be giving the people on stamps and paper.

I know you have an attorney but I was going to ask you if you ever wrote to the State Rep or Govenor. I don't remember if you did. A State Rep helped me get my disability in one week after I contacted him. What I did was hand write him a 2 page letter describing what I was going through and sent him part of my file which what I sent him was about 1 to 2 inches thick. I stayed calm and explained it as smartly as I could. That's saying a lot for me. I didn't show anger in it though, I believe that hurts at time or to talk negative about the SS people hurts too. Gigglebabe had the help of one or the other to get hers also. This might help you if you will try it.

Anyway, I do hope you start seeing better days and come back to stay.

Have a good day.
Ada

Hi Mark,

Keep hanging in there! Things will get better! I will keep praying for you.

As for Social Security Disability I was denied two times and am waiting on a hearing and it will be three years in July since I applied. My case has even been sent to another state because of the back log in my state.

Hi -I'm Debra, a new member, and though I just joined, my RSD, CRPS II has been my constant companion for over 10 years. I just wanted to add that even with an attorney (sent all my docs, etc. to him after I had my first denial) First denials - I understand if you go in missing two limbs, are blind and cannot sit in a wheelchair, you still get a first denial. Anyway, I got SSI on my second request, the attorney just sent in what I gave him. But,,, this time I included pictures of my edema (which I assume most of you have gotten and I had Wonderful Docs who said things like it "was the worst case I've ever seen, etc. At any rate, the woman who approved me called me to give me a heads up about her approval saying she shouldn't let me know because it could still be denied from higher ups. I appreciated this very much after two years doing the dance with SSI and Worker's Comp (don't know which was worse). Anyway, hang in everyone, Since receiving my benefits, I've not had a problem with either system.

http://rsdrx.com/Social%20Security%20Ruling.htm

I printed, highlighted, and sent this to disability with my appeal (they denied me). The lady from disability called me and said yes we have codes for CRPS/RSD. We just need your doc to fill out this form stating it and we're good. My doc is doing as we speak.

This is for SSI (permanent) however, I mentioned that SSI accepts this as a disability then my state should also and I should not be denied.

Good luck.
