Has anyone tried either of these and if so has it helped or not. I hve done research and it is used for many different diseases including sarccoidosis which I have a bad case of it in my lungs and liver but havent found much with RSD other then just one persons story. My grandfather is the one that found this treatment and sent the info with a check to pay for the machines, I just want to make sure its worth it so I dont waste my grandpas money.
Thanks Niki |

I got a chi machine for my all over discomfort ( low back/upperback, chronic repetitive strain injuries) & general overall wellness I guess you could say.
It feels good and there is an invigorating effect for me overall. But I don't know that it would much for RSD or sarccoidosis. I've read a lot about the Far Infrared saunas and portable hothouses. I do have a far infrared heating pad and it does help for my problems better than a regular heating pad.

I've used an infrared sauna, the type that is large and you sit in it. I felt it helped with my swelling and stiffness. I used it in conjuction with a few other therapies at the time. I considered buying one at one point, but I'm in a rental so it doesn't make sense. Not sure about the type of unit you're talking about? Those tent type ones may or may not help. If you are near a large city, you could maybe find a rental at a spa or tanning salon.
I actually bought an infrared heater that works well in winter to heat my limbs when they get cold. |

The hothouse Iam talking about is like a small dome that goes over your body and is about a foot and a half long and you just lay down and place it over the area you want to heat. Many are using it for cancer to shrink tumers.
The website I got info about an RSD patient using it is http://www.energywellnessproducts.com/rsdmarastory.htm Niki |
