Okay. Sorry for the late entry here, and thanks to Artist for clueing me in.

I was going to included a picture of me at my most observant: at my son's bar mitzvah in June of last year. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to make it fit within the artificially small file size of 214.8 KB for a JPEG file. Any suggestions? Anyhow, I've probably lost about 10 lbs. since the picture was taken. I'm 6' 1 and 1/2" and weigh about 180 lbs., with salt and pepper hair and VERY SMALL GLASSES. In contrast, the slightly chubby kid in the middle of the picture has (1) lost about 30 lbs. after adopting a rigorous work out routine over the summer, (2) picked up maybe 4 inches in height, (3) shed his glasses for contacts and (4) gelled/spiked his hair. He now looks like a morph between James Dean and David Bowie. All true!

Mike, the free photobucket site is really easy to use- here is a link that tells about it-
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ht=photobucket

or on the photo itself - right click and some options should come up- go to open with -Paint -

then click Image - stretch/skew - I usually take the size down 50% at a time till it looks about right. then save as a new file name so you still have the original size also.

If you have Microsoft Photo Editor {comes with Office} in the list with Paint - it is easier to use - to adjust sizes and sharpens, adjusts brightness , crop etc.

Congrats, Liz, you did it! Wow, is that the White Cardigan I see there? I had one of those too, it went with my Trendy Kilt, the fab Knee-High socks and the groovy Low Heels. But I had the Joan Baez hair....What a hoot, I love it, thank you!

all the best

Crazy

artist,

the long straight hair came a few years later....along with bell-bottoms, beaded headbands, mary quant fashions and the rest of that era's crazy fads!.....like the 'twiggy' look (i was never eligible for that one!) and 'don't trust anyone over 30'......the picture was taken just about the time the beatles were first on tv in this country....on our senior class trip, we drove the poor bus driver insane singing "do u want to know a secret" all the way to washington d.c. and back again.......funny to think about that stuff now.......but i don't miss the kilt or knee socks!

my grandsons didn't recognize me from the pic.....when i admitted that it was mine, one of them asked "why do u have such funny hair?".....ah well, someday they'll undrstand.

Yes, it did - and I want your hair! Fancy finding a day in Britain when it's not raining. Or too cold. Or...well, you know.
Thanks, lovely pic (looooovely hair, drool)...
all the best

Thanks Artist - this is from last summer when I was on holiday with my friends.. we went to Cornwall! It was AWESOME! that photo was taken after we'd seached every where for a wheelchair accessible beach and had ended up "recruiting" to get me carried to the water (and wheelchair)! LOL. (Hey, I wasn't going to be left out!). I had to crop the photo heavily because the tankini I was wearing wasn't the ...... least revealing and I was worried about certain anatomy parts being too obvious! This photo is more recent though really isn't a good one of me - the dress didn't work as I wanted it to and I was having a bad day.

Hope you are ok, you can have the hair! it is so annoying most of the time! love ya

Frogga
