Default This one is really off topic but fun I hope!!!

In all the years that certain individuals have been on here I have had to only imagine in my mind what they must really look like since for whatever reason they have never shown us a pic of their real selves. Well if they have I have not had the pleasure. So with my wicked little mind I have had to put to thought what I think some of you folks look like and I like to compare you to actors and here goes. If I left you out please forgive and I am sure someone else will remember you and add you in with their thoughts!!

Here goes: Artist - Dainty little british thing that I bet you are. Not of mind or ability but physique. Very petite with short hair. Probably so lady like but can have a good ole time with the best of em. I suspect you resemble Audrey Hepburn. Bur more classy in dress like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman as she walks down Rodeo Drive. Full of confidence and enjoys a nice glass of wine after a long hard day of work. There, I'm sure I'm right.

Now Vicc: Tall, Salt and Pepper hair. Intelligent as all get up. Enters a room and you know he has arrived. Broad shoulders. Awesome sense of humor Is quick to share his knowledge with others and with pleasure. Wears glasses. Soft spoken yet, can be heard when needed. A cross between Gregory Peck, Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda. Thats a well rounded one if I might say so myself!!

Next is Jose: Not to tall. About 5'5" at the most. Medium shoulder length hair. Red I bet. You can tell by the spit fire in her. No nonsense and well organized. Would have to be with teenagers. Thorough with her tasks. Very creative. She makes me think of Park Overland from the TV Sitcom Empty Nest. (The Nurse). Very witty, I love it!!!

I have to stop for now. Major cramps in hands. Add stuff and keep it going. It will be fun. Chin Up Mark

P.S. Someone needs to come up with Ada's description!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh, this IS fun!......since i've seen your pic, i can't do yours, so someone else will have to......maybe i'll try someone else, but i don't think i'm very good at this sort of thing....i had pictured DebbyV as a skinny, tall, angie-dickinson-type blonde and she doesn't look like that at all......she's very pretty, but more like demi moore than angie (and those of u who r too young to know who angie dickinson is, can just keep quiet about it!).

i have a really firm pic in my mind of mike....his writing reminds me of someone i knew a while back (also a lawyer, tho i knew him from church) so of course, i picture him looking like my friend......not to worry mike, he was a good looking man with prematurely white hair (just about the prettiest hair i've ever seen, in fact!), medium height, very slim, marvellous speaking voice, and the dirtiest laugh i've ever encountered.....no matter what he was laughing at, hearing him would convince u that he'd been listening to off-color jokes.....can't think of a celebrity for comparison, so i hope that's an adequate description.

don't bother doing mine....i don't even know what i look like any more....every time i try to look in a mirror, this fat old lady jumps in front of me, and i can't see myself!

Default Hi Allen,

I'm going to describe you since you already have a picture up. LOL. You have big ears, white hair that stands up and big brown eyes. Very cute. LOL And the cutest smile.

I've already seen your real picture so I know you have brown hair, tall, thin, good looking. As far as other looks you clean up nicely. LOL

Your personality, you are very kind to people, very helpful, you like to have fun and try to make the best of a bad situation. you have a great sense of humor, you get along with everyone, you have a great sense of humor. Oh, I think I said that twice.

You're definetly not a fly by night with no lights on. You are in charge of what is going on with you and can deal with it with very good repore. You don't fly off the handle at just anything and you don't make a big deal out of nothing.

If there is anything I left out feel free to fill in the blanks.

Jose is one I'd like to see done. That girl reminds me of likeing a lot of excitment in her life. Never a dull moment for her.

I'd say she has dark hair, brown eyes, kind of small. Someone else can help me finish hers because I'd say people have an ideal about her too.

As far as me, I have a picture on my profile of me and my daughter. I didn't know how to put it here but it's on my profile. I'll let everyone else describe me, your just not allowed to use cursewords on here. I can be a ***** at times but I have to be put in that position. I definatley can stand up for myself when it's needed anymore. I'll let anyone else do the rest on me too.

Wow... this is fun!!!

Artist - I have seen your pic so this is cheating - but I agree with Marks idea... dark hair, small, slim, "petite" and quite short. Very supportive but likes proper debates and doesn't deal with crap from every body. Likes living with random life forms. Someone that prefers animals to people in "real time".

Ada - I always imagine you as this middle aged woman with sort of silvery blonde hair, like artist very petite, quite quiet and insular, probaly has a cat and enjoys sitting by the fire reading or knitting. Someone that knows loads of "mummy" recipies and folk lore. Knows the neighbours and meets them for coffee a couple of times a week. Really caring and resourceful.

Roz - apart from the eye I imagine you are small boned, with medium length dark hair and dark eyes. Probaly wears glasses. Loves reading. Terrier like tenacity. intellectual.

IHH - tall, blonde sort of scandinavian looking, sport/ exercise mad. Goes to church alot. Blueish eyes. probaly enjoyed tennis particularly. Loves reading and spending time with friends. Dedicated. Enjoys cooking.

Alllen - I imagine you being dressed in fishing stuff with the great hat and puffa... don't know why!! imagine you sitting by a river with a book on hand. I know. Bizzare. Probaly with a pencil to write in corrections!

erm - that's all I can think of for now... will add more later!!

Oh Jo - this motherly person sitting at the computer - probaly got a pixie face and is really small and slight. imagine her running an empire from her computer in the side of say the kitchen with lots of kids running around.

Vicc - bald, about 5ft 10 probaly broad shouldered, wears glasses. Sits and drinks beer in front of the football. Probaly likes baseball caps. Stays up till 4 or 5 in the morning because he's at the computer researching and doesn't want it to effect everyone else so writes lots of posts. Probaly very focused. Very kind and loves kids!!

Am I getting a good laugh! I love hearing what you have imagined me looking like! Anyone else? I would love to hear what anyone else has imagined me looking like.

Maybe I will add a picture to my profile so you can see me. (but first I'll wait for you to tell me what you think I look like)

This is such a cool thread!

I cannot guess Rosie, Amber, Ada, Allen, Mark and Artist... I have seen pics of them before.

I am going to try and tell you what I have imagined a few people on this board looking like... and some of the personality type...

Vicc- I have imagined him kind of tall, Russian looking, brown/ grey wavy hair along with a short beard- short, wears glasses and spends most of his time reading and doing research as well as writing up his own thoughts on RSD (know that last part is true. ).

Mike- very intelligent, short, with black short hair, definately wears glasses. Definately no facial hair. Very outgoing and talkative.

Roz- petite, short/ straight brown hair and green eyes. Very gentle and loving. Quiet personality. Has a small cozy cottage and she is a country gal.

Jo- curly blonde hair and freckles. She must have blue eyes, and she is soft spoken. About mid-age. She likes to keep things very neat and organized.

Liz- Dirty blonde- grey hair, definately long. I think she wears glasses (but not all of the time), and she is regular height. Older? I think she must be intelligent and speaks another language.

Diamond Lil- long curly brown hair, gentle blue eyes, business type woman, who loves cross-word puzzles and the like.

Shelley- Has a slight boston accent, is short with long blonde curly hair, and has dimples in her cheeks. Definately likes going to the beach, and doing things outdoors. Likes to dress up.

That is all, for now at least. Fun!

P.S. Froggsy- you got some of the description you made of me right... -big grin-

Default Frogga,

I loved that description of me. I have always wanted a fireplace and could never learn how to knit. I tired one time and I turned a potholder into a teacup. Reading, I can't sat still to. I must admit though, I am trying harder to get into it. When I was in High School, I hated to read so I would read parts of a book and don't know how I did it but I would ace the book report everytime. I must have just read the most important parts. LOL I do love books though. I have a collection of Antique, medical and old favorites such as Little Women and Gone with the Wind.

Pictures don't tell the personality of a person, that's for sure. I have to get to know someone awhile to know their personality but once I know them, I can tell what the next dramatic thing they will do in their life. Susan gets mad at me for that one.

Could someone else help Frogga out on me? LOL

Jo, I picture her as being kind of short, just a little overweight, very nice, tries to stay our of fights, very smart or she wouldn't be a moderator and most likely a fighter for what she believes in.

Frogga, I can definetly tell you are a fighter, you don't give up on what you believe in, I know that from the fight for the van. You worry about things that you shouldn't. I do that on some things but have gotten better at it. You are very helpful, because you try to help out the caregivers that try to help you. You're very smart and I can see you getting a lot farther with your health then you can even imagine. You have the mental strengh to do it. I saw your picture so I see what you look like.

Vicc, I can see you as a tall, maybe a little overweight gray haired man, that wants to learn everything he can in life and help others to learn. You probably have brown eyes and a good smile but like me have trouble smiling due to the hard life you are going through. I hate my smile so I try not to.

Ok, my Grandson needs me down at his school, got to go.

Isn't it! Mark and his brilliant ideas again!

So..my turn, my turn.... I've seen actual pix of quite a few people, these are the ones I haven't. (Hey, you should try to find a pic of Curious, she's a real glamour-puss (really!).

Jose - I may have seen a pic of you, not sure - if I've got you right, then I have! You're very pretty, brown eyes, with long dark gypsy-style hair and a good figure. Guessing medium height.

IHH - You're tall, and dark too. Maybe long straight hair, and a creamy skin, brown eyes and lean figure.

Roz - for me you're definitely fair, or dark blonde, long hair and you like the colour pink. Tallish, blue eyes, quite slim, very soft skin, fine face bones.

Jo - red-blonde hair, short and curly. Not very tall, comfortable figure, blue/grey eyes, light skin.

Vic - Well, I know you weigh nothing, so very thin, height hard to guess cause you're always on the recliner, but tallish. Pony tail, we know. Bearded? Yes, probably. Specs? Definitely. Brown eyes. Wolfish smile. Ooops, have I just described Willie Nelson?

Mike - Medium height, quite dark, short hair, blue eyes, quite compact frame. Perhaps gold or steel-rimmed specs. Neat features.

Lil - Tall, rather good-looking, dark medium-length hair, green eyes, wears specs.

Sandra - brown eyes, mid-brown medium shoulder-length hair, wears Indian-style loose clothes, comfortable figure, quite tall.

Are the people we haven't seen a photo of going to provide one for us at the end? I really hope so!

all the best
