I take clonazepam, generic for klonopin. This got me through withdraw from morphine, PN, sleep issues, and spasms in my neck. Very mild medicine, that seems to help at multipal levels. I wish you all the best. ginnie

NOW .... Doctors don't like to write for "Soma", they say people abuse it by combining it with "Ambien" & "Vocodan" to make some form of "Cocktail" that, I GUESS, people get off on. I've never done this & never had a problem with "Soma". I personally do not abuse medication & my doctors trusts me. Like many muscle relaxants, you may have to build a tolerance for it .. Some people find it makes them dizzy when they first begin. GOOD LUCK finding a doctor to write this very tried & proven Rx. (BTW: I stopped taking it, cold turkey, and stayed off one year to prove that I did not become "Hooked" on it. I never had a withdrawal sptom one.) I've taken Soma for over 20 years! |

I also have tried Soma, I was given this right after my spinal fusion for muscles spasms. It worked very well I have to admit. I don't know why I was not given this later, but changed to klonipin. Both seem to do just fine. ginnie

Soma is usually every 8 hours. So I would wait at least 2 hours before taking a xanax. But check with your pharmacy. Personally, I prefer Soma also. The rest does not do it for me.
