Your symptoms can absolutely get worse. The only docs that would agree to performing this surgery would be incompetent one's.

Imagine never being able to stand fabric or wind touching your chest area again. You wouldn't be able to put clothes on the upper half of your body to go outside.

You're symptoms may spread from head to toe. And yes, spread really can make you more miserable. If it's in your jaw, it makes eating, talking, and even breathing a misery. If you get it in your legs, you can end up in a wheelchair or needing a walker.
