Okay this is the weirdest thing I have felt in my lower abdomen since I was pregnant. I woke up this morning from the Charlie-horsing like spasm in my right leg. Gosh those hurt! For the last three hours or so I have had a definite spasm going on in either my uterus or my bladder. Feels more like the uterus because I will also have what feels like a Braxton Hicks contraction where my lower abdomen is contracting. I would take a soma but I’m trying to get some work done today before we head for a long July 4th weekend vacation with the family. The soma makes me so sleepy, so I'm trying to avoid that.
Over the last few days I have really been struggling with my digestive system. All kinds of lovely things that I won’t go into here, but trust me when I say that the entire system is giving me issues

. To the extent it’s been tough to even get meds down. It too kind of feels like when you’re pregnant and can’t get your food to digest properly. Let me be clear, I am in no danger of being pregnant. Quite the contrary. I have more perimenopause symptoms than I would like to admit. And interesting how most of the perimenopause symptoms are some of the same symptoms of CRPS (eg night sweats, fatigue, etc).
So this spasming has been going on in either my uterus or bladder for a about three hours now.
Good grief, what will I do about internal involvement of the CRPS? I just saw my neuro doc this week, and he wants to do a sleep study for apnea because I have had episodes of waking up choking. However I really believe this is from reflux and indigestion of food not processing properly. I have only seen him a couple of times, so we are still in the “get to know you” phase. <sigh>
I guess the answer is take a Soma and muscle through the day sleepy.
