I'm wearing socks right now Vrae

It's really humid here. REALLY humid. REALLY REALLY humid. And very little wind. Ugh, I hate it. I'm sticky and hot and my left side is prickly and sore. My knee is fat, I ache, and I have that lovely bone deep pain in my knee. Whoop!!! Got to love the English summer!!!

We are forecast thunderstorms today and tomorrow - I have everything crossed that those little beauties come and take some of the stickiness away.... I love storms although they do of course come with massive pressure changes which I have no doubt will play havoc with me (already are lol).

My garden is completely parched and brown, the countryside round us ditto. There have been fires in a few places because everything is so dry (and because of idiots with fag butts and lighters, grr). But rain is due, probably not gentle English rain, but torrential for three weeks and drown us all

It is a bit cooler this morning though, but I gather it will be roasting by the afternoon, so I'm trying to make the most of it by wearing a cardigan

Here ends the weather for Gloucestershire, England Hope some of you are a bit cooler today or at least have a nice gentle breeze on the go.

Roll on Autumn!!!!

Bram.

Oh good, good! I now can say I know someone else wearing socks on scorching hot days! LoL

All kidding aside, It actually sucks though, doesn’t it? I’m so sorry any of us are struggling to keep extremities warm.

The humidity: I was going to say that perhaps the only upswing with all the humidity would be that it’s making everything lush green and flowers bloom, but doesn’t sound like that is the case.

I had an acquaintance that was from Wales, which I believe is not far from you. Geography was never my strong suit, so perhaps I’m wrong about that. He passed away a few years ago and my company put together a memorial video for his colleagues in Denver and his family in the UK. We incorporated tons of photos and video of the wales countryside and other parts of the UK. So very pretty!

Europe is so on my bucket list! I have never been able to decide where to go first. And I would love to eat my way through Italy! I would need months and buckets of money to go all the places I would like to see on that side of the world. Seems I always find myself at an island instead. I am a sucker for beautiful water, snorkeling opportunities, and fantastic sunsets on the horizon of the ocean!

I'm from the UK too and have also been struggling with this terrible heat wave we have been having! Even now it has cooled down, it is still WAY too humid! These thunder storms haven't been helping pain levels either

I haven't really found a way of 'coping' with the heat in the 6 years that I have had RSD. I do tend to take cool baths, although these can sometimes cause pain to get worse

I really hate the summer as I have blood pressure / heart problems (POTS) and the heat seems to make it worse.

Sorry that no one seems to have any answers as to what might help... RSD is such an horrible condition Just know that you aren't alone and I hope you are feeling better soon! Hopefully the temperatures will cool down a bit!
