I Had Two Facet Blocks L4-l5 Several Years Ago For Excruciating Lower Back Pain. It Hurt Badly But For Just For A Few Seconds Really, And I Have Never Had That Pain Again. I Do Have To Do Some Exercises But Even When I Am Not Compliant In That Department, The Pain Is Tolerable. So I Am A Fan Of The Facet Block. My Caution Is Make Sure It Is Done In A Hospital Where They Do Them Every Day. You Do Not Want Someone Messing Around Your Spine. Joan
