I don't know if it is sold OTC, but I am sure ur md could get u some. We would use it on kids who were allergic to everything else. May be worth a try.
I also get horrible electic shock and stabbing pains in my bladder/ groin area...on the left side where my crps is. It is horrible, so I feel your pain there.
Again, I hope that things are looking up for you now.
Kristin
Hey Kristin, thanks for the tip on the bandages...just made a note of it! I don't know if my system was just overloaded or what - but it was refusing to let anything work. It just got worse with each thing I tried. Now, incisions are much better. Front one still hurts, but better! Whew!!
My IC (bladder) has been flared up for days, worse than usual. Sorry you have to deal with that pain...it is rough!
Thanks again, Nanc

Nanc, have you tried holding bandages on with a ace bandage? You can adjust the hold and secure it with a safety pin. What about just plain vasoline where you don't have the bactrine. Make sure it is dry tho or it will hold in moisture. Also sometimes the best medicine on irritated skin is no medicine at all. Of course still use the bactrin on the open sites.

I did not try an ace bandage. I thought about it once...then realized how much I would need since I have four incisions. But I will remember it for next time. I am not using anything on them now. They got so irritated with anything I did. I started wearing a tank top under my t-shirt and that held the bandages, mostly. Now they are really dry. Wondered if I should put vaseline on them now. My dermatologist had me use only vaseline on a spot on my face where she cut something out.

Thanks for the tips

Sorry I'm late to this thread. I'm just catching up.

Oh my Nanc, you sure have been through the mill lately. I hope things settle down for you and you feel better.
