I hope your pain goes away soon. Just remember that is does subside eventually and in the meantime try to use your emergency rsd kit and put on good comedy, get some gelato and don't forget the heating pad. It helps me at least.

Sorry to chime in so late, I've had tough times using my hand lately,
(long story).
I understand how it is that emotions get so tangled up in all this
physical stuff you deal with, just know you've got support
out here. Hang in Jesika.

I had a rough weekend, but again powered through it! We went into our favorite Bigfoot research area, and were greeted soon as we got there. I got out of the truck and gave a little whistle....something I do every time we go in this area.

Right away the whistle came back, and it was better than my whistle. So we whistled back and forth until a baseball size rock came flying through the trees and landed about 10 feet from me, and bouncing off the tree closest to me.

We started setting up camp, and when we were almost done getting the tents up. These Owls....or something mimicking Owls began to circle our camp. This went on for about 3 hours. A couple of those Owls had a bass sound you could feel in your stomach. Around 1:am they stopped and we didnt hear another Owl the entire weekend?

We did hear a few roars and high pitched screams off in the distance, found a few tracks in the morning. But all in all it was a good trip!

It did take me a couple of days to be able to walk again, so I spent a couple days on the bed laying there thinking about what im going to do next time! I wont quit....my body will have to totally force me to stop.

What a weekend you had ,real challenging ,I wouldn't last a single hour hearing owls,in the wild, scary, but I know even with all that you did have fun.
