Today is a beautiful day because.... I feel better after our "outing" yesterday. Michael and I had to make a 60-mile round trip journey to Idaho to get smoking supplies, as they cost twice as much here in Wa.
We drove down winding 2-lane roads, between fields full of young grain and stands of pine trees and newly blossoming fruits, as well. I saw cows and horses, several hawks, pheasants & quail. I never leave this apt., except to go to Dr.s or grocery shopping. I hadn't realized just how much of my depression was coming from not being out in God's country. The city doesn't fill those needs for me, never has. I need green fields, pretty trees, and animals roaming to feel truly at peace... and I got just that yesterday.
