Don't lose that grip - hang on, cause this is typical. It took me 6 years for a diagnosis of RSD. I was suffering from many ailments according to which doctor I saw and the specialists were the worst. So according to the doctors in the past I suffered from the following:
1. Tennis elbow - moved from one arm to the other because my mind is making up pain!
2. Pinched nerves in my neck - had many shots for that one - NOTHING!
3. I am depressed and producing pain with my mind.

and it goes on and on.
Remember, keep a journal of all your symptoms, get angry and take charge only YOU know what's what.

And of course - get support from other RSDers.
