I too have a strong family history of breast cancer. I've had benign fibroadenomas in the past and have very dense breasts. I'm high risk for breast cancer.
I have had some trouble with chest and upper arm pain and spasm/cramps. The last time I did a self breast exam it made the area worse and it still hurts, breast themselves now too. I'm too worried about spread for a mamagram. I'm going to ask my PCP or GYN if I can have an ultra sound instead. |

Thank you all so much for the feedback. It helps so much to have the opinion of those who have CRPS and understand what life is like when you have to think about things in a different way. My CRPS is in both of my legs, from my feet up to my knees. I am still trying to decide what will be the best thing at this time and I plan on talking to my sisters more about this.
I am hesitant to get an MRI as well because last time I was in pain afterwards. I think the vibrations caused the increase in pain, as I discovered when running the vacuum cleaner caused some horrible pain. |
