Visioniosiv,
When my mother was diagnosed with PD I was shocked by how little help we received. No information, just pills. She was also addicted to Xanax, which exacerbated a personality disorder. Not one doctor helped us, in fact they encouraged her to continue to be stubborn and resistant, basically imo they were herding her into a nursing home. It was only through God and Dr.Google I found information on nutrition, supplements, protocols, etc that got us through. She got off Xanax despite us being told it was impossible, she used one med, with holistic products I found, her life long sinus issues went poof as did her constipation. My regrets are that due to fear I did not get LDN for her or MJ. PD is well funded with considerable research, but nonetheless there was not much from the medical community for my mother. CRPS is an orphan research wise compared to PD, which translates to me that I cannot wait and hope for help. If I want to improve I have to see Dr.Google. |
