The left side of my face is bothering me a lot lately. Mostly the left side of my lips, now it seems to be all over my lips. A constant burn, like holding a hot iron on my lips. Is this normal RSD symptoms of the face?

I have pain on the left side of my head, ear, and left side of neck but none on my face. I cant imagine what you are feeling. Sounds almost like an allergic reaction though. Lets hope thats what it is, and not crps.

My area has been the rt jaw, teeth and tongue. My last block was over a month ago and I'm still 90% pain free. It's a tough area because I'd normally use Lidocaine patches and/or Epsom Salt lotion.

The lip pain finally went away last night after lots of pain meds. Its back now, left chin, left side of lips, left neck. My injury site is my left shoulder. Im thinking its CRPS. Pain is very similar. Im scared it wont go away, and it will hurt to kiss my husband!

Awe, that's terrible. You have to be able to kiss your husband. I hope it goes away and it is not CRPS in the lips.

Use lidocaine cream or patches on your neck and cheek, as well as the Epsom salt lotion--available at Walgreens, both work well. Lidocaine for pain, Epsom salt lotion to reduce swelling. If you haven't had a stellate ganglion block before, it might be worth trying. This area is by far the worst area of the body I've experienced. It can effect your ability to eat and talk, and when at high levels it can hurt to breath through your mouth. Please do not ignore it!
