Thank goodness the pharmacist got the insurance thing straightened out & I started my antibiotics yesterday.
I have mixed feelings about the RIC thing. With the level of pain I have been in, I'm concerned about 10 hours out of the house. Then of course, there's the possibility once the eval goes to the insurance, it will get denied. I have totally lost all faith in that system given everything I went through for the LSB's and most recently, medication. That thought process is wanting to just cancel the RIC eval, change PCP's & see this local PM.
7am train, arrives at 8:30, uber to RIC, 10am PT (1 hour), 11-1 "free time",1pm OT (1 hour), uber to station, 3:45 train home, arrives at 5:30pm. That's going to be a very difficult day for the "possibility" of insurance approval. It also (except the 11-1 free time) is the schedule every Friday for 12 weeks. If there is no measure of pain medication, I don't think I will be able to participate. I can't see going through that every Friday and being functional until Wednesday each week.
Keeping my fingers crossed my pain level will go down between now and then. I've been up for an hour lying in my bed putting off my morning visit to the potty palace because yesterday was so bad.
