Thank goodness! Some good news for a change. Cross that one off the list. Will be wonderful when the aneurysm gets crossed off too. Sounds like your getting close to getting it resolved. Keep us posted. ~mac

Heart

Yeah! Such good news on your echo Bio! You must be very relieved. Of course, we at NT always knew you had a good heart.

Please let us know before your procedure. Healing thoughts and prayers will be coming your way.

Spike,

Last March an 8mm brain aneurysm was found incidentally on a CT scan, thanks to all the testing done in an attempt to determine what was wrong with me-it was only in May I learned my misery was CRPS.

Of course, the aneurysm is an area that has the highest probability of rupture. The cerebral angiogram I had recently, shows it as being slightly smaller at 7.3 mm, but it is still too big to watch and hope, so I am having a procedure which inserts a stent at the aneurysm's base (mine has a wide opening) and then a catheter fills the aneurysm with tiny coils to hopefully obliterate it. I am lucky the neurosurgeon is at the number two neurosurgery hospital in the US and he has a high rate of success on the first attempt. I will be in the ICU overnight and can return home the next day if all goes well.

Time to re-inflate the aerobed and prepare to spend some more time convalescing on the first floor.

Cool Smirk

Bio,

So pleased your heart checks out fine and your upcoming procedure is in the very near future. As Littlepaw says, do keep us informed, and thoughts and prayers are already on their way.

Dave.
