Hugs. Thanks for the update. Sorry that you aren't able to go home like you want...been there though not ever in the way you are dealing with it now. Just focus on getting better so you can get home as soon as possible. Keep us updated...you are in my thoughts.

Things worse. Potassium still way too low no matter what they do and now bleeding out from gut. I hope this turns around and they don;t have to take me back to surgery. Blood count way down from when I came in from the bleeding. Docs are on it and concerned. This is a GI ward. Looking for better news tomorrow.
Thank for your support. Pretty out of it right now.

Oh my goodness. Lord, please grant her healing through whatever means you deem right.

Have any of you heard how CDwall is doing? Like all you, I'm concerned about her.

Thank you all. Still bleeding out from gut. They stopped the blood thinners and are trying to see if it will quit on its own before they put me through another procedure to go back in and try to re cauterize the bleeding areas. Potassium up a tiny bit so electrolytes better. They won't even talk about when I can leave. I still can't eat or drink anything.

They don't know how I'm going to get nutrition until they get biopsies back to see if my gut will even absorb food anymore. With the gastroparesis I'm going to need drugs or tubes to bypass the stomach that's not emptying at the very least. So far the drugs aren't working plus the drug I'm currently trying is Reglan which interacts badly with some of my other drugs. So lots to work out still but I'm feeling more positive tonight. Again, I really appreciate your concern. I think I'm going to be ok (well, relatively with these diseases as you all understand). It just may take a while.

CD,

Good news on the potassium. We'll take what we can get right? You ARE making improvement. I sincerely hope the anti-coag change stops your bleeding and you don't have to go back in. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you. Just remember on getting out of there that it takes as long as it takes. We all want you safe and well.
