Regarding the dental issue, I am really concerned about the bone loss in my jaw..I have decided NO ROOT CANALS, they can pull them if that is what is needed, but I just cannot put myself in the position of causing more harm than good.

Ali: I am so excited to hear about the possiblity of home tutoring for you! YEAH!!! I missed two straight years of school when I was in UCLA Medical center as a child, all I can say is when I left there and returned home, my reading level was at a Sophomore/University level, not too bad for a 10 yr old. Now my math and other subjects, well, let's just say, it took me a long time to catch up.
So, I hope they are able to work this out for you, I know you miss your friends and it is difficult trying to maintain those friendships when you are sick and people do not always understand. Keep your chin up.

I just wanted to welcome you to the forum.

I lost all of my bottom teeth right before I got my diagnoses of RSD, but I knew I had the RSD due to a friend on the TOS forum helping me figure it out. They all had to be pulled due to teeth problems. It took 3 sets of teeth to get a set that fits half the way right due to no gums. They went bad so fast it was unreal.

There are several on here that have delt with RSD and dental work so I know you have or will get some good info. I would make sure like others said that you find a Dentist that knows about RSD.

I have trouble with grooving at the gumline on the outside of all the teeth except the very front. It appears to be caused by "setting" my jaw too tightly probably as a reaction to pain.
