Sorry for only just replying to you.

Thanks for the advice, me and my mum have spoken to the school about going to a school just for disabled children and they said that they were going to get back to us but they haven't yet. It is so frustrating!

My educational psychologist is trying to make me go out more often with my friends, I went out with my mum and one of my friends on Thursday, I had a good time we went to pizza hut and then up to my house. I did get really tiered though, but I guess it's just because I haven't done anything for ages. One of my other friends is coming up on Tuesday, If I feel Ok.

From what I have heard from you about carers I don't really want one. They sound like real pains lol.

How are you? I am sorry about the problems you are having with the exams etc, they can be so frustrating, especially when you are in so much pain.

I have got a meeting with my occupational therapist on Tuesday, they are coming to see about putting a downstairs bathroom in our house. I will let you know how it goes.

My mums getting a new car on Wednesday, as I am having real trouble trying to get in and out of my mums current car.

Things I have learnt - you can choose to ignore them if you want

a) schools for disabled kids - NOT GOOD! you need normal social interaction with kids your age who are NORMAL! because yes, you currently have RSD but at 12 there is a very good chance you will get over it - if you got to a special school then you will not be interacting with your "normal" peers AND you will not get a decent quality education. What I meant was a unit with decent inclusion policies which has a seperate unit attached where you can rest/ have a break if the pain is too much - for instance a friend of mine (who is VERY disabled by RSD, fed by tubes, utterly unable to move, hoist dependent etc) was offered a chance to go to a school where she was in normal classes with normal kids but when she needed she could go and lie down, they had hoists, hoist accessible bathrooms, all her computer equipment etc... so she could be fully integrated but still pace herself etc. In the end she didn't go because it was just too far... But ask around about whether there is a school with a decent inclusion policy and I will ask around...
