Talking Claudia, Condor, Dana, gigglebabe

I am so glad to see you guys are still around. Gosh I wish I had found this months ago.

Stephen, I saw your post about the recipes from the "old" days, and boy we did have some good ones. Deb and I created havoc for awhile to make a certain person mad, so we posted recipes and jokes like crazy..LOL

Dana, How in the world have you been? I have missed talking to you.. So what is new with you?

Claudia, How about you? I've missed all of you. Stil spoiling the grandkids? LOL

Deb, I posted to you on the other site and didn't have a clue this one existed, but am glad I found it..

I know I am missing someone else but just can't think right now.. Damn CRS.. LOL

I can't remember the guy that used to write all of the reports on RSD or what he was researching.. something like that.. Do any of you remember who I am talking about? And the guy that was really depressed because after many years of marriage his wife had left him.. Gosh I hate memory loss..

Love all of you guys and have missed you but never forgotten you..

Love,
Janet Cherry

Default Hi Janet

Sorry to jump in but read you post. I remember you briefly. A long long time ago I used just marccus as my screen name but computer glitches caused me to come up with a new one.

The guy you are trying to remember is Vic. He is doing some other things right now at home but says he will be come on and will be with us soon. So glad you have come here. Welcome.

Chin Up!!

Mark

Default hi janet....

wow, it has been a very long time.....good to see ya.......

like mark said, vicc is the research go to guy, but you are also talking of sam yamin..........he was from michigan too, and got rsd from a chain saw from his business.....he was always sending jokes, and tried to be upbeat, but he suffered with severe depression................one time i called the sheriff dept. of his city, and they found him in time........we have since lost all communications from him....altho we had tried for many many months.............jewells and i called and left many messeges with his phone.........but to no avail................
he was really upset when his wife left him.............i pray that he is still with us, and ok....i hope that he may one day find his way back to the boards and write to us................
other than that.....same old same old here.................emily is almost six....love of our lives................
i am doing ok with my rsd, still in pain, but at a tolerable stage.....
frank is not so lucky........he got hurt at work (again) and had left shoulder rotator cuff surgery........well, his rsd just went ballistic........now he is in major major pain, and unable to deny this monster any longer..........
welcome back.....hope to see more posting from ya...........

Default Good Morning Everyone

It is so good to hear from all of you..

Marcus, I do remember you from the old board, a long, long, time ago.. LOL The way my memory is, I am surprised that I remember anyone..It's good to see you are still around here though..

Claudia, I really hate to hear about Frank. It seems to me that the only part of my body I hurt anymore is the RSD part. Is Frank getting help for his RSD now? I don't know how he went so long without getting any help, but some men just have to act tough..LOL My ex was one of the biggest babies when it came to pain..LOL I am glad that you are keeping your pain to a level you can deal with. I have learned that I either have to deal with it or let it get the best of me, and the latter will not happen.. Sam is who I was trying to think of. You know we used to email each other and then my pc was down for awhile and I just didn't care to fix it but then decided I would have it fixed and I lost his email addy, but he did email me last year and I never got the chance to answer him. I sure hope he is OK.. It sounds like Vic is still doing great work and I hope he comes back around soon. I would love to say Hi to him as well.

Dana, So how are you doing girlfriend? How are things in sunny Hawaii? I wish I was somewhere sunny today. It is so yucky looking out today but it is suppose to be 68 so it shouldn't be as cold as last week was. So are you still working? I have a terrific job that I love. I manage an Oil and Gas Company and for the past 6 weeks have had the place to myself. We have another office in West Arkansas and we are moving this office there. I just haven't had to move yet, so I have nothing to do all day but play around on the computer..LOL

Well I have to get me some coffee so I can get motivated this morning, and I am so glad to have found you all..

Love to all,
Janet

Dear Janet -

Treading as lightly as I can, are you saying that you were part of the group that worked with the mods to get Panacea and I believe someone else earlier on banned from the old board?

I wouldn't have asked, except for the fact that you seem to have raised the matter in your post.

Mike

Mike, I was on the old board but to answer your question the answer is NO.. I don't guess I was on the board when either of those 2 people were there, because I don't know who they are. They must have joined after I stopped getting on my pc.

Most of the people when I was there all got along great.

I hope this answers your question..

Janet

P.S. The reason I brought it up with Stephen was that there was 1 or 2 people who got furious for anyone posting jokes or recipes, but it did help us think about something other than our pain..

Okay, but who were you trying to anger in your postings of recipes and the like?

You are so welcome and I hope to get to know you better..

We wasn't trying to anger anyone..We were just trying to talk about other things, as well as talking about RSD, just to try to not have to think about the pain all of the time. We shared reciped that were easy for people with RSD and not to have to stay in the kitchen for hours just to fix a meal for their families..
