Michelle, First I want to say I am sorry you are dealing with all of this. I am glad you got a lawyer & filed for SSD. My company had a firm to fight for SSD for me & I needed them. I want you to know we got turned down twice. We sent in updated medical & asked that it be looked at again before going to trial & it was approved. It was a stressful time. I also contacted my congressmans office who got involved by following my case. Since I want being evicted from my home there wasnt alot they could do but Social Security knew they were being watched & my Congressman is Fantastic!! They knew everything! So talk to your lawyer about contacting your senator or congressman if you get denied the first time. It cant hurt you. Good luck & take care.
Hugs, Denny
