Thumbs up Illinois bill SB1535, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Education Act

To anyone living in Illinois, the Senate committee on special issues will be meeting Mar 25, 2009 to discuss Bill SB1535 to bring public awareness to RSD.

A portion of bill SB1535 being introduced, copied from the Illinois General Assemby:

Creates the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Education Act. Provides that the Department of Public Health, subject to appropriation, shall establish the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Education Program to promote public awareness of the syndrome and the importance of early detection, diagnosis, and treatment.

You can find more information on this by visiting the Illinois General Assembly site.

Thank you for this information. I just attended the RSD National Convention here in Scottsdale, AZ There was an all day session for us RSDers and the next day was for the local medical personnel. There were about 135 attending and wonderful information. It will be available to purchase on DVD thru RSDSA. I'm anxious to see and hear the following day of DRS. Let's get the word out! Take care Loretta
