Linda-I think you should find a new PM

I also take Flexeril and it works great for me. No tummy upset or luppy feeling. Morphine makes my blood pressure plummet so I stay away from it. Good luck with these:)

I just started klonopin for this. I take it 2 times daily but it is been just over a week so can't really give any feedback. Someone suggested it to me and I suggested it to my neuro. Good luck and I hope you get relief

Hello,
I used to take klonopin, and was told that it's (sort of) slow release, longer acting diazepam (valium).
It worked good!

I take 20 pills per day, under my current PM, and he has helped me with my pain issues. I just don't take a muscle relaxant as I don't need one.

Botch my upper leg muscles (biggest muscles in the leg) twitch from time to time, especially the one on the right, but mostly they are so tense it hurts, and the tension is so strong, I can't loosen them up. That's why the muscle relaxer gives a lot of relief to the pain itself. Unfortunately, I have to make a choice, that's why I take the relaxer mostly at night, because I do fall asleep on the medication.

Soma, A wonder drug. It really relaxes you. It is a muscle relaxer but it works great for stree too.

Soma

I take half a soma pill like six times a day, as needed, sometimes less than that. It makes me sleepy if I take too much, so I only take the one half. Beware of soma in that it has aspirin in it. I have to take it with some food though, ulcers hurt me if I don't.

Hi Debbie,
I have not used any muscle relaxers since I got inquired, wait I did use baclofin for a short period after one of the many surgeries I have had, anyway I have heard that Soma/Carisaprodol(spelling) is one of the best. Maybe suggest that to your PM doctor.
