I have a medical alert on my driver's license, but this just reminds me I need to attach a note to it about RSD (it doesn't specifically say what the medical alert is for).

I have a handicapped placard and it was granted to me because of RSD/CRPS. How can you get the medic alert on your DL? I have never heard of this being done. A friend of mine has diabetes and she must have that on DL(she has to have some type of sugar in the car, when she drives, should her sugar drop).

Thanks for your input

I think there was just some box I checked on the application when I had to renew. You can check with the folks at the license bureau on this, and they can show you where it is (at least this was the case in MN).
