What do you take for meds ?

Can you call your pain doc in the am to ask for an increase til tide you over ?

I can't live without icepacks myself. I know ice isn't supposed to be good with RSD....but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Can you add ibuprofen to your mix to help with inflammation ?

Can you stay on bedrest ?

Heart

I know how you feel... I really really do.... I am losing it to... Here are some suggestions... When your pain gets really bad like the intesnse moments of shooting pain you could try what is Square breathing take a deep breath in through your nose using your belly ... breath out with your belly and do it agian... until those intense moments pass... You could also try the ibrprophen... 800 mgs to help if its really bad pain.. at least that is my dose... you could try and see what is help but that is the most....Keeping your arm elavated above your heart with body pillow or some sort of pillow will keep some of the pain at bay... I would for sure call your PM doc and tell him about the ER... My doc had to send them a fax expalin i am not a drug abuser and i really do have chronic pain disorders so that is something for your doctor to do for future incidents when you need to go to the er.... I would for sure just take it easy and rest maybe even bed rest.... I basically have been laying in bed for the last 2 weeks... as it gets warmer my symptoms get worses... I dont know if that is common or not.... I am thinking about you and i know you can pull through this... Your in my thoughts...

Jacquelina~ HOPEFULLY PAIN FREE DAYS AND HUGS TO YOU AHEAD..

Hi. Just sending thoughts to you. I pm you with some thoughts that I have but I really think you need some new doctors to work with you. From what you told me the current ones are not even sure if part are RSD and if they are not then you need to figure what is going on ASAP and possibly another opinion or direction can help. When you read my PM let me know what you think and if I can help. For me and now this is me but when my pain is at the no return other then meds I try to be very still. I sometimes will take a bath but for me if I were to put a warm pack or be touching the area it would just make things worse. I hope you are feeling better today.

Sending hopes & well wishes your way, Jennelle.

I really wish I could help, but I don't know how.

Hang in there!

Hi Jennelle,

I'm so sorry to hear that things are so bad for you at the moment!! I really hope that things start improving for you real soon as you don't deserve to be going through all of this!

I'm not sure what to suggest that may help you as I haven't found anything that helps really and I know that what works for one person, might not work for another! Have you tried Epsom salt baths?? I know they can help for some people and relieve the pain for a little bit.

As Daniella said, if you don't feel comfortable with your doctors, it might be worth trying to seek another one. I know it can be difficult and quite stressful but it IS worth it in the end when you find a doctor that you like. We had to see lots of doctors before we found one that we were comfortable with and that knew how to try and treat me.

I'm sorry that I can't help you further! Just know that I care and if you ever need someone to talk to, I am here for you because I DO understand some of what you are going through!! It might be worth speaking to your doctors and seeing if they can increase your medications any to try and help also.

Take care of yourself and i'm sending many pain-free hugs your way!

It seems the pain is way above "average" here this past week.
The weather is just nasty.
April Showers / Mayflowers / Pilgrims.

I do hope and pray for your feeling better.
I've been "down" for about four days now, and I can't' take no more!
But, the weather man say:
One more day.
