Pretty amusing show. I particularly liked the sports cards book of different kinds. As far as the Colorado thing, I'll be dipped if I'd fill out a form informing the world I was breaking the law, even if the state is cool with it. My home means more to me than all that, and it's merely a trailer! (I know yer all shocked!) I hadn't heard much good in regards the marinol, but then when I had looked at it, I wasn't looking in regards pain but rather the poor folks with AIDS and cancer/chemo related nausea. Tough to keep a pill down when yer puking. I may have to look into it though, never even crossed my mind, frankly. Thanks for the advice.
And good news; the manufacture of generic oxycontin has been resumed! About half the price of the non-generic, although it's still pricey, it's wonderful news to me. |

I find it helps quite a bit but like every other med we all react diffrently, also MJ itself has diffrent breeds, some helps neuropathic pain quite a bit, some just spaces you out. I find that a weaker blend is what I require for my nausia and pain.. probibly because I have become acostomed to it, and anything too strong just gets my heart racing, however my heart is efected by RSD as well so I think I am impared that way if I could just get the med without the stone I would do so but I have tried Naboline (not the same) and I have tried a few others as well , and they just don't seem to work as well for me.. I find that the MJ works alot like lidocaine does for me, I use it for break through pain mabie twice in a day, but only if/when I need it..
Horible on the memory though. |

I have the darn RSD heart problem too, and certain types of MJ mess with it.
Although in the evening before bed it does the trick in giving me the attitude adjustment. At first my wife didnt like the idea of MJ, but the first time she realized that my tude changed from the on edge ferocious RSD pain sufferer to the mild mannered happy go lucky couch potato, she changed her mind. It is very easy to get your medical card allowing you to have and grow mj here in california. You do have to prove you have a medical problem though, and pay a small annual fee. A couple of friends were pulled over and all of their meds (mj) were confisticated. But the judge released all of it back to them, and then scolded the cops that did the taking for going against california laws. And this stuff isnt the grass we smoked way back when that is fer sure It is alot more potent LOL.

I hadn't done anyting like that since college (we'll just say several years) and I was floored by the change in potency. Used to take a lot more to do less. Again, I wish that I lived in a "legal" state and value my job and house more than doing it regularly, but when in hell when first diagnosed and trying to find anything that worked...let's just say it made it manageable. Made my sympathetic nervous system take a chill for a couple hours and sometimes a little break is all it takes to give some hope.

LOL it floored me too! It was aloooong time ago for me as well. Then one day a good forum friend (Condor) was talking about this medical mj, I asked the doctor about it and he told me it was worth a try.
It really does give the much needed break from stress, some pain, and the great attitude of who cares LOL. I do recommend trying it to see if it something to add to your arsenal against pain, if it is ok where you live.
