When the pain is very bad, usually for me late in the evening, I get to feeling sick. Also happens when I try to stop the pain with meds. I've noticed that before the painkillers actually kill the pain, they make me feel spacey, for like fifteen minutes or so. Then, once the pain takes a break, it settles down.

I take "Promethazine" (which is quid, up to 4x daily), but I only take it once daily prn.
It's a fantastic, and inexpensive anti-puke med. And let me just say this. I can puke! Sorry. But, between the pain of the RSD/TOS and a TBI (head injury) on top, I'm almost like a trained circus aminal. And, of course, wifey knows it. "She can control me with my pain". I pray, that this never happens to anyone here! Pete |
